Mandatory medical examination of employees of Semey Engineering JSC

Medical examination (physical examination) is one of the most important components of the prevention of occupational diseases. Its goal is to identify the development of the disease in the early stages and determine the working capacity of each employee: physical, mental. The employer is primarily interested in a qualified and prompt medical examination by the company's employees. According to Article 185 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is established that the medical examination of employees at the enterprise is carried out at the expense of the employer, who must also count the time spent on medical examinations as working time. In addition, due to the poor condition of one employee, accidents and industrial accidents may occur, which will entail not only material costs, but also penalties from the state. Based on the results of the medical examination, the health status of workers is monitored on an ongoing basis, including pre-shift and post-shift examinations.

Today, undergoing a medical examination in clinics is not always a pleasure. Huge queues in the stuffy corridors of public clinics, inconvenient appointment times and tests - a medical examination can take more than one week and turn into a real horror.

From August 18 to August 26, 2022, at our enterprise’s own expense, a mandatory medical examination of workers on the plant’s territory was carried out. A schedule was drawn up for medical examinations by department. The team unanimously, according to their schedules, underwent a medical examination. Those who were on vacation also came for a medical examination.
