A forum-dialogue "Engineering education is the key to success in the new Kazakhstan" was held at Shakarim University. The meeting was attended by representatives of the management of Semey Engineering, KTZ - Cargo Transportation, Kondiz LLP, Career and Employment Department and Master's degree students. Issues of employment and work experience, dual training, joint research projects were discussed at the meeting. The event was organized by the Department of Technological Equipment and Engineering.

Gulnur Nurymkhan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, stressed the importance of today's meeting for students. The students directly asked their questions to the production managers and said that they had every opportunity to provide them with work. In turn, the head of the Department "Technological Equipment and Mechanical Engineering" Gulmira Zhumadilova noted that engineering professions are in demand.

"Today's event is very important for each of us, because employers can find their employees among you and see your high human resources potential," the head of the department concluded. Leaders in their fields provided students with detailed information about their companies.

"Today, the plant's production volumes are increasing, the range of products is expanding, investments are being made in technical re-equipment and social policy. This will allow us to confidently move forward to new heights," said Rasul Turagulov, Deputy Director of Semey Engineering JSC for the production department. He also said that the plant is going to hire a number of students, as graduates have proven themselves well in the dual training format.
